| What Are Tribute & Gift Videos? |
TRIBUTE VIDEOS are created from the photographs taken over the years
of the person such as one retiring or having an anniversary, etc.
Tribute Videos can also be a Memorial Video for a loved one who has
passed away. These include family photos, photos with friends and
coworkers, pictures taken on vacations, parties, anniversaries, etc.
These photographs are transferred to a computer, transitions and
effects are added and a sound track, which may be the music or the
songs that were enjoyed by the departed or preferred by the family, is
added on as an accompaniment to the photographs. Finally titles are
added and a DVD is made that is played at the funeral to reminisce
about the good times enjoyed by all in the company of the departed.
Memorial Videos tend to uplift the spirit of those attending and also
serves as an heirloom to be passed on from generation to generation.
It is often included in the package price of the Funeral Home or is
ordered by the family members as a tribute to the loved one who has
departed.
For the Funeral Home, the video serves as a special gesture of
goodwill towards those who have acquired their services. In return, the
praise and appreciation they receive earns them the goodwill of the
people several times over the cost of the video. Also, the credit tag at

To Calculate Yourself:
Songs need to be 3 min. 20 secs. in length, plus or minus 20
seconds. Each photograph is on screen for approximately 7- 8
seconds. You may calculate how many photographs a song will
accommodate by converting the length of the song minutes into
seconds and dividing that number by 7.
For example: If a song plays for 3 minutes & 20 seconds:
3 min. x 60 = 180 Seconds
180 + 20 secs = 200 seconds
200 divided by 7 = 28 to 29 Photos the song will accommodate
