 VIDEO DEPOSITIONS
The demand for video recorded depositions have increased in demand
several fold in recent years and the benefits are as many:

  • May possibly lower the cost of an expert witness significantly
  • Eliminates the high cost of bringing witnesses to the witness stand
  • Suddenly the key witness may not be available
  • On the day of the trial, the key witness may be in a hospital as a
result of a terminal illness, an accident, etc. and may not be able to
attend the trial or just may not show up.
  • Camera never lies. Demeanor of the witness will show.
  • Credibility of the witness may be enhanced or diminished.
  • Stress factor of a courtroom atmosphere is greatly eliminated
providing a far more relaxed atmosphere for the witness to likely
expand their details thus providing the deposing attorneys the
    answers they are looking for.
  • In most states, provides the deposing attorney an opportunity to
question the witness with an unrestricted time limit
