

To capture detailed aspects of every dance recitals, ASPEN
PRODUCTIONS assigns 2 to 3 Broadcast Quality 3-chip digital cameras to
each videotaping of a dance recital depending on the size of the stage.
- First camera has a wide shot of the full stage and captures the
overall action on stage.
- The second camera concentrates on following each of the dancers
in the group, in 2/3 to full length zooming in as action permits to as
close a shot as possible.
- The third camera is utilized to cover the stage from another angle
on the side.
For the dance director to view the overall choreography, a separate
complementary DVD is given that provides the full view of the stage as
seen by the audience during the performance.
In addition to the condenser microphone on the camera, for a balanced
audio recording, microphones and mini DV recorders are set up in front
of the stage, the outputs from which are dubbed in at the studio for the
final mix to achieve the best audio fidelity possible.
Awards presented at the end will be included in the DVD provided that
the total available render time on the DVD is not exceeded.

*** Shipping & handling charge may be eliminated if the Dance Studio will
distribute theDVDs and have the performers pick them up at their studios.
A pre-order envelope will be provided by ASPEN PRODUCTIONS. In
addition, an order box along with preprinted order envelopes will be set
up on the day of the event for the attending public to place orders for
the DVDs.
Since most Dance Recital performances fall around the same time of the
year, to allow time for editing, the delivery time for the final edited DVDs
is 4 to 8 weeks after the event has been videotaped.
